The [SC]Clan is well known throughout the SOF2 community for bringing both new maps and gametypes to SOF2. We run many standard multiplayer gametypes and several custom gametypes that are only found on our server.

Below is a list of gametypes running on the [SC]Clan Server, along with a basic overview of how each gametype is played:

Standard Gametypes

CTF (Capture the Flag)
Two teams face off against each other and attempt to take the other team's flag and bring it back to their own for 1 point. There are no rounds, and as players are killed, they respawn and join the game in progress.

INF (Infiltration)
Two teams face off against each other. The blue team attempts to take the case and bring it back to their base for 1 point, while the red team tries to defend the case from being taken (also for 1 point). There are round time limits, usually 3 minutes per round. If the team defending the case doesn't allow the other team to take the case and score with it, they win the round and score 1 point. As players are killed, they do not rejoin the game until the next round. If all players of one team dies, that team loses the round.

ELIM (Elimination)
Two teams face off against each other attempts to kill all players on the other team. When one team kills all the players from the other team, they win the round and get 1 point. As players are killed, they do not rejoin the game until the next round. There are round time limits, usually 3 minutes per round. If at least one player from each team is still alive at the end of the round it results in a round draw and neither team is awarded a point.

DM (Deathmatch)
All players individually fight each other to reach the scorelimit. 1 kill = 1 point. If you kill yourself you lose 1 point. Once you are killed you immediately respawn. Players get a standard full weapons outfitting which they can customize.

TDM (Team Death Match)
Similar to DM but in this gametype two teams face off against each other and try to kill as many players from the opposing team as possible. 1 kill = 1 point. Once you are killed you immediately respawn. The game ends when one team's cumulative kill count reaches the scorelimit.

Custom Gametypes

TFT (Team Freeze Tag)
Two teams face off against each other and attempt to "freeze" the opposing players by killing them. A player who is frozen will remain frozen for 20 seconds, then rejoin the game. You can unfreeze your teammates by stabbing or throwing your knife at them, or with the AK stab. Players' health will regenerate slowly after being unfrozen. Your team gets points by freezing opposing players, unfreezing teammates, or a larger number of points by freezing the entire opposing team and the round ends. There are round time limits, usually 5 minutes per round.

SAB (Sabotage)
Two teams face off against each other and try to take the bomb (the case) and plant it at the other team's computer and destroy it. There is only 1 bomb and both teams fight for possession of it. Once you have possession of the bomb, bring it to the other team's computer and crouch to plant it. Once planted, defend the computer as the other team will try to defuse it. The round ends when one team successfully destroys the other team's computer. As players are killed, they respawn and join the game in progress. There are round time limits, usually 6 minutes per round.

VIP (Very Important Person)
Two teams face off against each other and attempt to kill the other team's VIP. At the start of each round, a player is selected as that team's VIP which rotates per round. VIP's will appear in a white outfit and there will be a symbol next to their name in the scoreboard. As players are killed, they will respawn near their VIP. Beacons around the map can be activated to show the current location of the other team's VIP which will also be indicated on a player's radar. A team gets 1 point for killing the other team's VIP and the round ends. There are no round time limits.

DOM (Domination)
Two teams face off against each other and attempt to control anywhere from 3 to 5 flags (depending on the map) by changing them to their color. Crouch next to a flag to change it to your team's color. A small icon appears when you are in the process of taking control of a flag. If multiple players work together to change a flag to their team's color, the time taken to capture is reduced. Your team gets points by killing opposing players, changing a flag to your teams color, and by controlling flags. There are no round time limits.
